From humble beginnings in a rented barn in Middleton Stoney, where the late Peter Turney repaired and serviced agricultural machinery, the Company has grown into a multi-million pound business, serving groundcare and agricultural customers throughout Southern England.

The business today operates from seven branches and the five acre site at Weston on the Green specialises in garden and groundcare machinery sales and servicing.

This thriving enterprise remains a family concern and today upholds the high standards, enthusiasm and commitment which was established in those early years.  Mr Turney was the son of a farmer and agricultural contractor and after forming the business in 1948, steadily gained dealerships for a number of well know suppliers.

The Middleton Stoney premises were bought in 1951 and extensively improved during the 1970’s.  In 1968 the freehold premises at Weston on the Green were purchased, which is thought to originally have been a hospital serving the nearby airfield.

Over one hundred staff are now employed providing a high level of service with in excess of 100,000 components in stock and direct computer links to major suppliers.
